Unifier evolved to (experimentally) support Guilded!
The level ups and battles that were totally real in the bot universe were worth it.
The level ups and battles that were totally real in the bot universe were worth it.
Last month, we ended the Discord lock-in on Unifier by bringing support to Revolt, an open-source alternative to Discord. But now that that's finished, we wanted to go further and experiment with bringing Unifier to more platforms, so we could let users have the choice of which platform they want to use, and we could be more prepared to move to other platforms in case the one we use messes up big time.
So we're excited to announce that we're bringing Unifier to another platform: Guilded.
Replies on messages from Guilded will have a gray color for the message content button rather than a blurple/red one (Discord, please add more button colors).

Features that will be added but aren't in yet.
Replies are currently not being displayed in Guilded yet. Added as of Mar 22, 2024.
Reaction images cannot be sent to Guilded yet, as reaction images still use Bridge v1 rather than the more modern Bridge v2. We will adapt Bridge v2 to support reaction images.
Features that won't even be added because of incompatibility.
Post IDs in GtE and GtG bridging and references cannot be displayed in Guilded due to the lack of message components (buttons, modals, etc).
Messages bridged to Guilded cannot be edited.
Global emojis cannot be used, as Discord emojis do not work in Guilded.
For the same reason, any custom emojis will fail to process.
Reaction images cannot be used from Revolt due to the lack of context command support.
